Our 2012 London Olympics Predictions!
So the clever bods here at ATASS have been flexing their creative muscles and have focussed their attention on the Olympics - here are some of our Olympic predictions for the medals tables.
Sporting officials have set out some interesting Team GB medal targets, we've added our predicted percentage chance of achieiving these.
Team GB is aiming to be positioned in 4th place or above in the overall medal table, we predict an 89% chance of this being achieved.
We predict a 98% chance of hitting the team target of 48 medals or above, so a good medal tally is looking very likely!
Looking less likely is the target of the athletics team gaining eight medals of any colour - we predict only a 21% chance of reaching this target.
More hopefully, we predict an 80% probablility of the GB swimming team making a splash with a very respectable six medals of any colour.
So the big question.... how many gold medals will Team GB be proudly presenting at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic games - we're plumping for a very impressive 24 gold medals!
So the overall medal targets will probably indicate great success for the home team at this year's Olympics, swimming medals target looks likely to float, but there may be no legs in the athletics team medals target.
