ATASS Supports Charity Football Fun day!

Exeter City Legends will take on Plymouth Argyle Legends in the headlining game at a Charity Football Fun Day to be held on Sunday 15 July at Topsham Town Football Club.
The family-friendly event, which has free admittance, is hosted by ATASS in support of Devon Air Ambulance Trust. Attractions will include face painting, power kite taster lessons, football skills sessions, stalls and sideshows.
Exeter City's and Plymouth Argyle's Premiership Ability Counts teams will also compete on the day. Jamie Vittles, Community Trust Manager for Exeter City FC's Football in the Community Trust commented: "Events like this are so important not just for raising the profiles of the clubs involved but in demonstrating to young people the fun that can be had with group activities .
"Our Ability Counts team is one of the initiatives run by Football in the Community. Despite the challenges that disabled footballers face, this team is fantastic and we're really proud of their progress this year. Plymouth Argyle will no doubt give us some challenging competition but we're ready!"
Overseeing the event, Geoff Littler of ATASS said: "We're all sports mad at ATASS and love nothing more than seeing people of all ages and abilities take part. There'll be loads of fun for all the family including those who don't share our passion for football.
"We're very grateful to Topsham Town FC for letting us use their ground and I think this really highlights the camaraderie of the sport. We're also grateful for the support of Radio Exe which will broadcast from the pitch on the day."
The event, taking place at Topsham FC's grounds on Exeter Road, is free to attend and there is plenty of free parking available. For directions enter EX3 0LT into sat nav or Google Maps.
Gates open at 11.30am and the day will finish at 5pm. Everyone is welcome.
